This support is meant to help sustain Village residents without sufficient resources or reserves during this unexpected crisis, but is not designed to be a long-term recurring grant or loan program.
This fund is not intended to cover business losses or personal expenses.
FUNDING
The Pleasantville Neighbors' Fund operates through the fiscal sponsorship of the Pleasantville Presbyterian Church, and all donations are tax-deductible.OPERATIONS
The Fund will solicit applications for up to $1,000 (amount of grant subject to increase depending on funds raised and applications received) on a rolling basis, and will distribute grants every two weeks or as quickly as possible based on banking and distribution limitations. A committee headed by Anna Campbell will meet once every two weeks to disperse funds on a first come first served basis amounts according to their discretion up to $1,000 (amount of grant subject to change depending on funds raised and applications received).Grants are available on a first come, first served basis to eligible applicants (see below) as long as funds are available.
Applications will be reviewed by a committee consisting of

- Pastor Debra Bronkema - Pastor, Pleasantville Presbyterian Church
- Douglas Clancy - Financial Consultant
APPLICATIONS
Eligible applicants can apply monthly, until the Fund is depleted or August 2020, whichever comes first.Any funds not distributed by the end of the crisis (as determined by the committee) will be donated in full to the Pleasantville Food Pantry.
